Article Publishing Charge

As an open access journal with no subscription charges, a fee (Article Publishing Charge, APC) is payable by the author or research funder to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone.

Upon acceptance, after peer review under the responsibility of the Section Editor, authors will receive payment information for publication processing fees. Article Publishing Charge cover any other costs, that is no fee will be applied for extra pages or for colour illustrations. Where applicable, Article Publishing Charge are subject to VAT.

The Article Publishing Charge for this journal is:

• Euro 700 (+ VAT if applicable) for Reviews, Original Research Articles, Clinical trial protocols, Points of view, Video articles
• Euro 450 (+ VAT if applicable) for Case reports, Brief reports
